The Cottage Restaurant in Carmel serves breakfast all day every day. We think it's because we offer some of the best omelettes west of Italy, but it could the six styles of Eggs Benedict. Then again, it might the Strawberry, Raspberry, or Blueberry Cakes. Or it might be our hard-working staff, always striving to please use.

You can pay more for breakfast in Carmel, but you can't get a better breakfast.

Breakfast substitutions welcome

Everything is cooked to order. Sensitive to certain ingredients? Want lox instead of ham on your omelette? No problem. Within reason, we can make adjustments to our dishes so you get what you want. Just let your waiter know. Breakfast features omelettes, waffles, scones, French toast, Kathy Cakes, walnut waffles, crepes and more. Breakfast at the Cottage Restaurant has become a family tradition for many locals and visitors.

All of the breakfast meals served in the Cottage Restaurant are hand-made using the freshest and best ingredients we can find. We shop locally whenever possible, including Carmel Valley and Salinas, for the best produce, eggs, and meats.

We offer traditional Carmel breakfasts including our omelettes and Eggs Benedict. We borrow on our European heritage in the specialty crepes as well as our Italian heritage for the Pannetone French Bread.
