Quality hand-made food—baked or broiled, not fried
The Cottage Restaurant is known for its fresh fruit, the variety of Eggs Benedict, Pannetone french toast, Yogurt Parfait, Artichoke Soup, Caesar and other extensive salads, and its Baked Brie Board. There are plenty of healthy options to choose from, including our famous Chicken Stew, salads, soups, sandwiches and more.
Only the freshest ingredients
We make your food in our restaurant using quality, fresh ingredients. It's not dropped off the back of a truck. Why do we bother to tell you? Because you'd be astonished at how many restaurants purchase ready-made mixes, frozen and packaged foods, and ready-to-heat entrees to save time and money. Our food is carefully prepared by our professional staff. They've been with us for years and we value their skills and abilities.
Need a substitution? Just ask!
Everything is cooked to order. Sensitive to certain ingredients? Want ham instead of Pepperoni on your pizza? No problem. Within reason, we can make adjustments to our dishes so you get what you want. Just let your waiter know.
An affordable variety of quality meals
The Cardinallis' keep The Cottage Restaurant menu full of affordable and plentiful options. The breakfast menu offers a variety of Eggs Benedict, delicious muffins we make ourselves, filling "Kathy Cakes," and morning standards such as pancakes and waffles. We are also known for our selection of specialty coffees, including espresso, cappuccino, mocha and French Roast. The lunch and dinner menus are also full of choices for every palate.
"We have customers that come in every Monday, because they know the special is our chicken stew," owner Steve Cardinalli explains. "And we have people that come in just for our artichoke soup, often with a Caesar salad or half sandwich. We make it fresh every day, so that means three of us are back in the kitchen, painstakingly scraping every artichoke leaf!"
